Production and sale of plastic windows with two employees.
If we were to describe with one word what distinguishes the heart of Froli, it would be ‘ingenuity’, as it pushes us forwards, motivates and inspires us. And it’s been that way from the very start, when Heinrich Fromme established Froli with his ingenious inventions in plastics more than 50 years ago. To this day, we’re still fascinated by the idea of developing intelligent and ingenious solutions for our customers around the world. Our exceptional expertise in plastics and extensive knowledge in the area of ergonomics and health have made us sought-after specialists in innovative bed systems and solutions in plastics. The five pillars of our corporate philosophy are customer satisfaction, quality, employee well-being, innovation and sustainability.
Our passion is developing groundbreaking innovations with a love of detail and a consistent demand for excellence. Take for instance our ergonomic spring elements for bed systems made from plastic, with which we truly revolutionised the bed market from 1993.
The dedication of all Froli employees is routed in our ingenuity, combined with pronounced quality awareness in terms of materials, products and services. From our headquarters in Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock in the heart of Germany, we sell Froli products in more than 70 countries worldwide. We also began production at the Frolic Baltic factory in Latvia in 2006.

Areas of business
What matters to us
As a long-standing, owner-managed family company, we view company values, commitment to innovations and sustainable operations as key components of our corporate culture. All employees embrace this culture and embody it heart and soul at Froli.
This can be seen in the five pillars of our corporate philosophy:
Froli assumes responsibility
When it comes to corporate and social responsibility, we firmly believe that you can’t have one without the other, which is why the corporate culture at Froli is permanently shaped by a way of thinking that focuses on the well-being of people and the environment.

We as a company assume responsibility for the world around us, both in the make-up of our corporate philosophy values and in our daily activities. The areas of activity we’ve defined for the world around us are employees (employee well-being), the market (customers, suppliers, etc.), the environment (aspects of the environment and sustainability) and society.
We fulfil and exceed sustainability standards and other legal requirements. We develop and manufacture in accordance with DIN EN 9001, 50001 and 26000. We use renewable energies and ClimatePartner paper to support projects dedicated to reducing CO2emissions. Beginning in the product development stage, we consider environmental standards, the use of certified materials, resource conservation in our manufacturing, and recyclability. We use FSC and PEFC wood sourced from sustainable forests, certified, low-emission foam, and moisture-regulating textiles in accordance with the most stringent standards such as STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® (‘baby class’). Froli spring elements are saliva and sweat-resistant, constructed for simple assembly and disassembly, labelled and can be separated and recycled. In addition to high quality, we focus on a long service life and permanent elasticity of the spring elements and mattresses, and pursue long product life cycles for all products. To ensure innovation and our quality, we maintain active exchange with scientists in a whole host of disciplines, testing institutes, environmental laboratories, educational institutes dedicated to ergonomics and the back, and external partners such as LGA, TÜV Rheinland, GUTcert, Dr. Bendsen GmbH medical, ISST Unna and IGR e.V. The milestones of our success
Company founder Heinrich Fromme was often called ‘Daniel Düsentrieb der Kunststoffbranche’ (Gyro Gearloose of the plastics industry). His exceptional ingenuity led to one new, extraordinary development after another during his time at the helm of the company. Froli now has a state-of-the-art production facility at the Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock site in Germany and, since 2006, at the Ventspils site in Latvia. Dr Margret Fromme-Ruthmann has been managing the company as the second generation since 1998. Working with all the employees, she has continued successfully developing what her father Heinrich Fromme once built with courage and inventiveness.
