 Five star hotel beds - more than just a good night´s sleep
Today exclusive interior and attentive service is understood
for the ambitious hotel guest. But yet by offering exceptional
sleeping comfort the hotelier creates a harmonious
environment and so satisfies the guest. And that is no
surprise: we spend nearly one third of our life in bed. Healthy sleep and elaborate bed systems meantime became subject for the hotel industry. A representative survey carried out by the market research institution TNS Emnid just revealed:"peaceful sleeping" moved in the ranking order of guest's expectations to the second place. Due to that careful attention to the subject "sleep" offers every hotel a progressive marketing mix creating useful advantages on the market.

 Bed systems for objects

Comfort and top quality but also functional in use - this is what you expect from beds in a hotel. At the "imm cologne" in January 2006 frolexus presents a new well-engineered bed system in pleasing design for objects and private domains. The company focuses on the optimum load distribution by using flexible plastic spring elements in different grades of firmness. They adapt to the shape of the body and offer relaxing and ideal orthopaedic support for the spine. "frolexus_silva" is available in all current measures optionally as insert frame or as complete bed system with head panel, feet or rolls and bedside cabinet. If used as cushioned bed the fitting with individual cloth is possible.
 The overlay mattress is the frolexa_system mattress with 7 vital zones, superb properties for ensuring the correct climate around the body and a thickness of 15 or 20 cm.
Thanks to its own carpentry and upholstery frolexus offers frolexus_bedsystems in different types to allow the use of foam rubber core mattresses. Compared to sprung mattresses largely metal-free sleeping at simultaneously airing is assured. Besides, the premium-system is available with head- and foot adjustment, motorized with 2 or 4 motors and optional with massage unit, infrared remote-control as well as illumination.

 Gaining power for the title while sleeping: the national teams of Portugal and Spain will dream of the victory on bed systems made by FROLI. The new rooms for the Portuguese team at the hotel "Klosterpforte" in Marienfeld and the ones for the Spanish team at the Sportschule Kaiserau will be equipped with the patented undersprung-system and mattresses. The frolexus_bed systems not only offer superb comfort but also provide the orthopaedical correct position of the spine. Pressure relieving bed systems, over-size, continuous mattresses, different firmness levels and comfortable adjustability guarantee healthy and relaxing sleep for the athletes from southern Europe. FROLI introduced the new concept at the imm cologne aiming at becoming one of the main decorator for hotel beds in Germany. "We will increase acitvities in the hotel section massively. Wellness is a favoured PR item and our frolexus_bed systems represent healthy sleeping comfort," says business manager Margret Fromme-Ruthmann. "A good night´s sleep is very important - either at home, at the hotel or on a journey."
 According to that the family-run business fills new jobs in sales and distribution, project and patent management as well as in the marketing department to strengthen the new branch of hotel equipment. Besides FROLI is very successful in producing articles for the leisure sector (accessories for RVs and recreation vehicle industry), the office- and object seating branch. Since more than a year FROLI is producing seating for the world cup stadia in Hamburg, Berlin, Nuremberg, Cologne and Hanover.

FROLI has its bed systems tested by the LGA in Nuremberg, a recognized German testing institute for furniture and beds. Here, the wear qualities and functioning of the material and parts used in the bed system are put to the test. The FROLI spring elements, for example, are subjected to alternating loads of up to 1300 Newtons involving 30,000 individual lift cycles. After successful testing, the LGA issues appropriate test accreditations and certificates, as evidence of the beds’ GS or “safety tested” qualities. |

Recreation and regeneration can only occur if the spine is bedded correctly during the relaxation phase. This has also been approved by the IGR – Interessengemeinschaft der Rückenschullehrer/innen (Community of interests of physical therapists for a healthy back). They award frolexus_bed systems the seal for products maintaining a healthy back. Also, they substantiate the results of the LGA in consideration of medical and ergonomical aspects. |
