Froli is an owner-managed family business with decades of experience in the development and manufacture of ergonomic seating and sleeping systems as well as high-quality plastic solutions. Since 1962, Froli has stood for innovation, the highest quality standards and sustainable production "Made in Germany".

Froli combines research, development, prototype construction, and series production under one roof. With a high level of vertical integration and modern production processes, we realize reliable, series-ready solutions for a wide variety of industries.

Company founder Heinrich Fromme was often called the "Daniel Düsentrieb of the plastics industry." His extraordinary inventiveness has led to a constant stream of excellent developments throughout Froli's history.
Froli currently operates state-of-the-art production facilities at its Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock site in Germany, and, since 2006, at its Ventspils site in Latvia. Dr. Margret Fromme and Peter Liebing have been managing the company in its second generation since 1998.
Together with all employees, Dr. Margret Fromme successfully continues to develop what her father Heinrich Fromme once built with courage and inventiveness.

Manufacturing of molded parts made from rigid polyurethane foam. Currently trending: furniture profiles and furniture legs with oak grain.
Development and manufacturing of wardrobe furniture made from synthetic resin foam.
Expansion of metal processing. Development and production of seat support mechanisms for "FROLIMAT" office swivel chairs.
Expansion of deep-drawing production. Manufacturing of, among other things, storage consoles.
Market launch of the Froli bed system with "dissolved surface": Quadro-Flex. International patents.
Certificate for quality management according to DIN EN ISO 9001.
Froli Star Mobil Clip System “Bed in the Box” for caravans and boats. Rated 5 stars by the magazine Reisemobil.
World first: Froli Viado with individually adjustable spring elements. Awarded the red dot design award honourable mention.
Exhibition of a Froli bed system at the Serpentine Gallery in London.

Froli is celebrating its 50th company anniversary.

New products presented at the interzum trade fair, alongside bioplastic products, include the Froli_Easy and the ergonomic Froli_Alis seat . Seven new trainees begin their apprenticeships in various trades. Participation in the SHS Climate Day for schools.
Froli is named a TOP 100 company for the third time. Partnership with Paralympic gold medalist Sebastian Dietz . Documentary video with ZDF journalist Ralph Szepanski, "Innovation made in Germany" . Caravan wedge and all-purpose holder made from 95% bioplastic. We are proud of our 17 x 20-year company anniversaries, 2 x 25 years, 7 x 30 years, 4 x 35 years, and 2 x 40 years.
Froli is increasing its share of bed systems for the motorhome and caravanning industries. A creative space designed by employees is being opened and will launch with new, innovative concepts and projects to secure our future. The pandemic presents us all with major challenges.
Froli celebrates its 60th anniversary!
The Froli team participates in the AOK company run. Our flat magnetic door holder wins the European Innovation Award in the "Bloggers Favourite" category.
Systematic environmental management.
Frol has been DIN EN ISO 14001 certified since June 2023. ISO 14001 is the most internationally recognized environmental management standard.
Froli is shaping the future sustainably – for a measurably better environmental footprint
Together with the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Ruhr-OWL and the Fraunhofer IEM , the product carbon footprint was successfully determined . This yields valuable insights that pave the way for an even better environmental footprint.

With the DREAM frame, Froli sets new standards in design and functionality. The ultra-flat system impresses with its ergonomic sophistication and innovative technology – awarded the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2025.
